JOB PURPOSE:
As part of the federal government team, the Account Executive (AE) is expected to drive revenue through their experience and knowledge of Federal Law Enforcement agencies. The AE will communicate with the other Account Executives/Account Managers of their team on a regular basis to ensure execution of a consistent and cohesive sales strategy not only with one another, but with the rest of the sales organization. The AE will develop and nurture relationships with both the end user and partner community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Use your experience of the Federal Law Enforcement community to generate revenue working directly with the agencies, resellers, integrators, and other partners.
· Ability to work with IT/Networking VARs and AV Integrators to represent Haivision’s entire suite of video networking and visual collaboration solutions
· Collaborate with IT/Networking VARs and AV Integrators to develop territory specific business plans
· Consult with the Space/Intel/Civilian team lead to establish objectives, goals and a plan of action for the AE’s accounts within the Space/Intel/Civilian territory.
· Develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with new and existing clients.
· Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations as needed.
· Provide pre-sales technical/architectural support to partners and customers.
· Produce monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and business plans for the region.
· Capable of demonstrating and explaining our products at least at a high-level to key decision makers.
· Must be comfortable with 25% to 50% travel

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Significant experience selling to the Federal Law Enforcement community.
· Minimum of 5+ years of technical sales experience in broadcast, IP video, encoding and decoding technologies, advanced IP networking, or the control room market.
· A history of consistently exceeding sales and quota targets.
· Strong technical background with experience in streaming video, unified communications, and/or control room / operation center industries.
· Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of Haivision products and strategy to senior executives as well as business and technical decision makers.
· Ability to clearly communicate and document complex technical issues is a must. Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization skills and a proven ability to work on own initiative as well as with the rest of the sales team and corporate headquarters to expand the business.
· Familiarity/comfort with Salesforce is a must.
· Must have managed or worked with both a direct and a channel-based model.
· Proven ability to establish and maintain strong customer and channel relationships.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box.
· University degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
